A Wave

The thunder of a thousand blades of iron clashing,
swords that wail of a million faces impaled
on on on
rushes
lapping
the shoreline tapping
pools rupturing
in tidal forces formed.

This is the first poem i ever wrote. I was all of about 19 at the time.

Here is the correct format.

A Wave

The thunder of a thousand blades of iron clashing,
swords that wail of a million faces impaled
on on on
rushes
lapping
the shoreline tapping
pools rupturing
in tidal forces formed.

The format is set up to mimic the shape of a wave.

I was hooked at the moment of this poems creation on poetry ever since.
